Painting skills built on deliberate practice
Prizebeacon is an online training platform focused on painting and drawing technique. Every course is structured around observable, repeatable skills - not inspiration alone.
Founded in 2025, the platform was built for learners who want to understand why a technique works, not just copy what they see. Courses cover brush control, colour mixing, composition decisions, and medium-specific handling.
How a student moves through a course
Skill assessment
Short exercises establish a starting point. No gatekeeping - just a clear picture of where to begin.
Structured modules
Each module addresses one technique in depth - brush pressure, colour temperature, edge control - with worked examples.
Practice exercises
Isolated drills let students repeat specific motions until the movement becomes reliable, not just recognised.
Applied project
Each course ends with a full project that requires combining everything covered - no isolated tricks, real integration.
